Zara recently launched their spring 2011 campaign, with several smaller collections: women, TRF, men, young men and kids. We’ll have a look at the adults today, leaving the kids aside for now.
We were used to neutral tones from Zara, but now it’s time for some warm color splashes to sweeten the rigid cuts. The women collection has androgynous features, starting with the short-haired, little-make-up model and continuing with the masculine cuts of the blazers and the slim pants.
However, you’ll also find fluid shapes, silky fabrics and occasional ruffles, as well as the very popular 70s trend. Colors like fuchsia, turquoise and bright orange are present, sometimes even in the same outfit.
