Introducing the Julian Chang Fall 2016 Collection.
This collection is inspired by nostalgia, using streetwear elements from the 70's with touches of pure innocence. The prints used for this collection are diverse, with layers of colors and textures, ranging from brights to monotones. The beauty is found in the flow and simplicity of the styling. Colors include magenta, cobalt blue, and metallics such as silver and gold reminiscent of the feeling generated by the designers, such as Halston, who were popular in the 70's. For a modern interpretation fabrics are comfortable and timeless containing stretch and silks, mixing metallics and jeweled pieces. Prices range from $180 to $300.
Julian Chang, is a Peruvian born Miami, Florida based fashion designer. His designs encompass sophisticated evening wear for Miami’s elite, to a contemporary women’s collection that now sells in more than 500 boutiques worldwide, to custom designs for celebrities including Britney Spears and Gloria Estefan. He recently received recognition from the national organization Fresh Faces as a top emerging designer. His perspective on fashion is encompassed by the following quote: “Style is not based on brand names, labels or latest season’s must have. Style is within yourself.
